This past Sunday at a farm just outside of Nashville, TN Michael Ray and Carly Pearce tied the knot in front of 100 of their closest friends and family. Carly said "Knowing without a shadow of a doubt that I didn't settle for something less than truly the person that I think was made for me is something that I am thankful for." (People) The wedding took place at Drakewood Farm, about 15 miles from downtown Nashville. The venue features a 19th-century mansion, three barns, a pavilion and 40 acres of rolling pasture. Although the couple was dreaming of an outdoor wedding, the non-stop rain forced them indoors into one of the farms barns. That didn't dampen the mood for the guests or the couple Carly recalls, No one noticed the storms as we moved the ceremony inside. The love and joy in the room was perfect to us. It was truly a romantic night."

Michael insisted on waiting to see Carly for the first time in her dress on their wedding day as she walked down the aisle. She wore a high neckline, short sleeve gown with a short pencil skirt, covered in a long lace overlay. Ray spoke about his relationship with his new bride, "no matter what I have her in my corner. No matter what, she has me in her corner. I tell her, you're never going to face anything alone. Never will their be anything in life that you don't look over and I'm standing beside you."

Of course the guest-list included country star Jake Owen who just happened to be free that day to sing their first dance song, his romantic his "Made For You." Aside from that, the guests were mostly close friends and family who know them as Carly and Michael, but Lindsay Ell did happen to be among the guests.

We can't wait to see more footage from this whimsical wedding!
